OK, I just got scammed. I had been receiving telephone calls incessantly on my home answering machine for months to the point where it was consuming almost all of my phone's memory. They gave an 800 number for callback---800 are toll-free, right?

Wrong.

So I'm looking at my bill and it's fairly expensive, but sometimes it is. Then I look at the charges and there is one for ... EL SALVDOR? (Yes, that's a spelling error.) I'm so filing a complaint against this.
