Holy Frozen Spit, Batman!

It's cold. Really really cold. You wouldn't expect California to fall into this sort of chilly snap, but oh-my-goodness-it's cold. It went from being moderately warm, to breezy, and straight down into ice cold. I rarely have the heater on but right now it's keeping me from turning into an icicle. And it's not that it doesn't get cold around these parts, but it seems unusually chilly. Yours truly, the Fire Breathing Cow, would love to heat the room with some angsty flaming breath, but I wouldn't have strength to keep heating this room all night. All I can say is that I hope my energy bills aren't going to be too high. :(
